Environmental Health Working Group
Who We Are
Environmental Health issues continue to dominate the political agenda. The Environment Health Working Group is positioned to advocate for a healthier environment. Chief to its existence is the desire to provide avenues for the residents and commercial communities of the Greater Lawrence Area, to learn about environmental health issues and to provide an opportunity for those wishing to be agents of change to participate in the effort. Furthermore, the Working Group is working to create successful opportunities to promote increased awareness in environmental health, specific to this area. Such opportunities include, but are not limited to, public awareness and educational activities.

Current Status
The Mayor's Health Task Force is in the process of revitalizing the Environmental Health Working Group. The Protección en Construcción (PenC) Project is now a sub-group of this working group.
